英文被動句譯法

早年歐風東漸,中文因受影嚮而歐化。直至今日,在英譯中時,無論是筆譯或口譯都受影嚮。例如: 1. 美國「世界貿易中心」爆炸案兩嫌犯,最高可被判無期徒刑(可判無期徒刑)。 (中視 11. 13. 1997) $ 2. 此種心理障礙尚未被克服(尚待克服)。 3. 這隻竊听器是昨天中午在民進黨黨團辦公室內茶几下被發現的(茶几下發現的)。 (聯合報

5. 10. 2000) " 7. 該項越獄事件直到大門管理員稍後在台中縣的偏遠地區被釋放後才被發現(偏遠地區釋放後才曝光)。( p. 14, Guided Post, China Post May 8, 2000) 中文雖然也有被動句,但是極少。例如: 1. 人善被人欺,馬善被人騎 (All lay loads on a willing horse)。 2. 一朝被蛇咬,十年怕井繩 (Once bitten, twice shy )。 因此在英譯中時,為避免歐化,儘量不要用「被」字,而用主動句或用「遭到」、「受到」、「遭受」等詞。 Translate the following
